WHERE DO I GO WHEN I GET TO THE BOSTON CONVENTION & EXHIBITION CENTER?
IF YOU NEED TO PICK UP YOUR WRISTBAND:
If you need to pick up your wristbands, you may do so during any of the following times:
Thursday 11:00am - 8:00pm Lobby - LEVEL 0 East
Friday 12:00pm - 8:00pm Ticketing Hall - LEVEL 0 East, Hall B1
Saturday 9:00am - 6:00pm Ticketing Hall - LEVEL 0 East, Hall B1
Sunday 9:00am - 3:00pm Ticketing Hall - LEVEL 0 East, Hall B1
Please have your e-ticket ready to present when picking up your wristbands. You may print our e-ticket or show it on your mobile device.
Attendees who have redeemed their wristband can proceed directly to the Ticketing Hall to wait the show opening or the Main Entrance if the show has opened. Please have your wristbands on and ready to show for faster entry.
*You may pick up your wristbands any time during the hours posted above.
IF YOU CHOSE THE SHIPPING OPTION:
If you have purchased shipping and received your wristband, you can proceed directly to the Ticketing Hall to await the show opening, or the Main Entrance if the show has opened (click here to see a map). If you did not receive your wristband in the mail, please contact us prior to the show at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit us at the Customer Service Desk in FAN EXPO HQ outside the Ticketing Hall – Level 0 East.

Wristbands are to be worn visibly for the duration of your visit to FAN EXPO Boston. If you are coming for multiple days, you must keep your wristband intact over those days. If you are cosplaying, consider how your wristband will be worn with gloves, morph costumes, or other pieces.
For any questions or special concerns about wearing a wristband, visit our Customer Service Desk in FAN EXPO HQ located outside of the Ticketing Hall – Level 0 East at the event. Lost or damaged wristbands will not be replaced by FAN EXPO Boston.

Here is a place to rest for all you great families! For parent(s) with kids under 12, the Family Zone is a quiet corner where you can relax and get away from the crowds for a bit with lots of activities for the kids.

The Accessibility Services Desk is located in FAN EXPO HQ just outside the Ticketing Hall – Level 0 East. Persons with disabilities are required to pay full admission, however, one attendant/caregiver will receive complimentary admission on a single-day basis when requested at the Accessibility Services Desk.

Wheelchair & Scooter Rentals
Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis free-of-charge from the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Upon arrival at the Convention Center, attendees may notify on of BCEC’s Public Safety Officers of Guest Services Associates of their need for a wheelchair and they will do their best to accommodate them. Scooters are not available for rent at the Convention Center. If you require a wheelchair or scooter, we recommend acquiring one independently before the show.
FAN EXPO Boston does not provide complimentary wheelchairs or scooters.
SAFETY & SECURITY
The safety and security of our fans, exhibitors, guests and staff is our priority. Please plan ahead and note the following guidelines to help us deliver a safe and fun experience for everyone.
If you attend with any type of bag (backpack, purse, etc.), you will be asked to join a line for a bag check. If you are attending without a bag, your entry will be faster. Bag check is in effect every time you re-enter the building.
You will be screened with a metal detector at entry/re-entry points each time you enter the building.
Props & Costumes
Our Props Policy can be read in its entirety here, but the top-line info is:
- If it's not legal on the street, it's not legal at FAN EXPO Boston. Authorities will be on-site to deal with any illegal items.
- Metal props (guns, swords, etc.) and wooden props (baseball bats, 2x4's, etc.) are not allowed. Plastic props are typically allowed.
- Bows and slingshots are to be unstrung. Nerf guns and other foam bullet-type toys are not to be loaded.
- The final decision on whether a prop is permitted inside FAN EXPO Boston rests with Security. There are no refunds given if you are turned away for not adhering to our policy.
COSPLAY IS NOT CONSENT
If you would like to take a picture with/of another FAN EXPO Boston attendee, always ask first and respect that person's right to say no.
